In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Square POS, ensuring timely and accurate communication with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities and increase guest satisfaction Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and dietary requirements Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and support guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere Complete Opening and Closing duties efficiently and effectively Maintain a clean and organized dinning space for customers to enjoy Qualifications Education level minimum High School diploma Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments required; Vietnamese restaurant experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and cash handling procedures Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash transactions
