Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a part of our staff, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant setting and possess excellent customer service skills. Nutrition is vital to our seniors and the key role of our Servers ensures that their diet is healthy and appetizing. Servers are also responsible for taking orders in a restaurant style dining room, preparing first course settings, and serving all meals in a manner that reflects the highest quality of service. Duties Greet and seat residents in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials. Demonstrate solid communication skills to effectively take orders and connect with residents and co-workers. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while checking in with residents to ensure satisfaction. Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen including bussing tables and resetting them for new residents. Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that arise during service. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Ensure that food is prepared and readily available at all times for residents. Qualifications Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and other staff Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent customer service.
