Duties Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, linens, glassware, and utensils for optimal presentation. Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously during banquets, conferences, weddings, and other special events. Assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing to maintain a clean and organized service area. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and foster positive guest relations throughout the event. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Clear tables promptly after service, reset for subsequent courses or events, and assist with breakdowns as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of all services. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, catering, or restaurant service is highly preferred. Culinary experience or background in hospitality enhances your ability to anticipate guest needs. Strong guest services skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in banquet service or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays or equipment, and work in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with food preparation, serving protocols, bussing duties, and general food service operations.
