Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their experience. Serve a variety of craft beers, craft ciders, and wine-based cocktails. Operate POS systems such as TOAST to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling standards. Manage multiple tables or bar stations with excellent time management skills during busy hours. Support food service operations by serving food courses promptly and coordinating with kitchen staff when needed. Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience in a casual setting. Uphold high standards of hospitality industry practices, including food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service. Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Proven experience in food service, beverage preparation, mixology, or bartending within the hospitality industry. Strong understanding of beverage recipes, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and brewing processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills. Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and basic math for retail math and cash handling. Previous bar experience is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
