Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (Toast) Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards throughout service. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Aloha. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality guest service. Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven customer interactions. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork. Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting; experience with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is a plus.
