Server/Cashier

Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team in a dynamic soft serve and matcha shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen interest in the food industry. This role involves providing excellent service to our customers while efficiently managing cash transactions and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary needs are considered. Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the café, including dining areas and food preparation spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the overall dining experience. Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local food handling laws. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred. Strong math skills, including retail math for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to sanitize work areas effectively, adhering to health regulations. Experience with cash handling procedures is essential. A background in culinary arts or related fields is a plus but not required. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
