Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests, while efficiently managing orders and maintaining cleanliness in the service area. When business is slow, all team members are expected to stay productive by helping with food prep, cleaning, organizing, and other tasks as needed. Everyone is responsible for keeping the restaurant clean and ready for customers at all times. Using or playing on your phone during work hours is not allowed unless it is for work-related purposes and approved by a manager. Staying busy and maintaining a positive attitude is part of being a strong team member at The Boil Daddy. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest services throughout their visit. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring that all items are presented attractively. Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service equipment. Handle cash and process payments accurately while adhering to basic math principles for transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold food handling standards to guarantee the safety and quality of all food served. Support sales initiatives by upselling menu items when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or culinary setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and teamwork. Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and payment handling. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food handling regulations is essential for maintaining health standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a nightclub setting.
