Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and sanitation. Upsell menu items and wine or beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and provide exceptional customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly. Assist with food handling, kitchen communication, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy. Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction.
