Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine knowledge, cocktail recipes, and beverage options to assist guests effectively. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health regulations while managing multiple tables during busy hours. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Collaborate with team members to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellent service in both fine dining and casual settings. Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of wine serve , and beverage handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Hospitality background with experience in food industry settings is advantageous; nightclub or beverage-focused roles are a plus.
