In this dynamic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, assisting servers with food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Assist servers with delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Support bartenders with beverage service, including cocktail preparation and wine service, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction. Process cash transactions accurately at the point of sale, including sales transaction processing and handling cash or credit payments. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling, and cleanliness practices in accordance with food industry regulations. Engage with guests warmly to enhance guest relations, answer basic questions about menu items, and promote upselling opportunities like spirits or specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including the kitchen and bar stations, supporting sanitation efforts and food safety compliance. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently. Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction and loyalty. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales records. Experience working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes sanitation, food safety, and guest relations.
