Location:

Hermosa Beach, CA Apply Now Join the Surfer Girl crew and bring the ultimate beachside experience to life! Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with selections. Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and sanitation standards. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a high level of service. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, offering assistance as needed. Handle payments and process transactions accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A willingness to learn about menu items, preparation methods, and upselling techniques.
