Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service. Prepare and serve food items following safety standards and quality guidelines, including basic food preparation and handling. Manage cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash with precision during busy service periods. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular or new offerings. Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the shift. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, managing food service orders, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong food handling knowledge, including food safety management and sanitation standards. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Experience with serving, bussing, and general food industry operations is desirable. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and operate kitchen equipment safely.
