Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our team at Castle Oaks! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests, ensuring their satisfaction from the moment they arrive until their departure. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu items to elevate guest satisfaction Manage multiple tables simultaneously with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to foster positive guest relations Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Open availability, weekends are a must, may help with events too Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing bills, calculating tips, and managing sales totals Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Culinary experience or food handling knowledge is a plus but not required Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
