Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests enjoy their dining experience from start to finish. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS or cashiering systems Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations during food handling and service Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and resolving issues promptly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during service hours Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Previous experience in fine dining, hospitality, or restaurant environments preferred Knowledge of the food industry including food preparation, serving techniques, and guest relations Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Ability to work nights or weekends as needed in a fast-paced restaurant or nightclub setting Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional service!
