Job Summary:

As a Server at Miyabi Shabu & Grill, you will provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service to ensure each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. This role involves greeting and seating guests, explaining our shabu shabu and BBQ dining experience, taking and delivering orders, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly, manage seating, and communicate estimated wait times. Explain menu items, specials, and promotions (including Happy Hour and Yelp check-ins). Take orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen for timely food and beverage delivery. Set up tables with sauces, condiments, utensils, and other essentials before service. Monitor guests' needs, refill drinks/broth/sauces, and provide additional items as requested. Follow proper cooking equipment procedures for burners and grills. Pre-bus and clear tables efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized work area. Assist with to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging. Follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards. Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service across all sections. Support opening and closing duties, including restocking and light cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

Previous serving experience preferred;

MIN 1 YEAR

Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
