Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; handle food preparation and food handling responsibly. Assist guests with wine knowledge, beverage pairing suggestions, and special requests to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Support sanitation practices such as proper food handling and maintaining a clean work environment throughout shifts. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage seating arrangements efficiently during busy hours. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other POS platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally. Ability to upsell menu items such as cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty beverages confidently. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation. Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres.
