OBJECTIVE

Provides dining service to all customers in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in a casino floor environment which is smoke filled or a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reports to work on time, as scheduled and in proper uniform. Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude. Follows department and casino policies and procedures. Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service to customers, according to departmental and outlet standards. Has knowledge of all food and beverage health codes, and makes safety first priority. Ensures that all areas are kept clean and free of any potential hazards. Participates as a team member with staff in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of Customer Services. Places food orders following the sequence of service. Monitoring customer needs ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled in assigned sections. Continually refines and develops knowledge of all Food and Beverage items. Completes all work duties in an efficient and proper manner on a daily basis. Answers any customer questions and/or complaints and directs concerns to appropriate management. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of health and sanitation standards Oral and written communication and computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow oral or written instructions, lift a minimum of 25 pounds, sit, stand or walk continuously for 8 hours or longer

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Current Food Handler's Education Certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

3 months customer service experience preferred
