Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Server to join our the Calamigos Team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Pool Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests and members have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with their needs throughout their visit. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests and members with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring that all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally and promptly to enhance their dining experience. Assist in setting up and breaking down Pool areas. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality required; 10 days training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Holidays are blackout days for time off. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
