Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions smoothly while handling cash responsibly Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to maximize sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and drink service Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and POS stations in compliance with health standards Assist in basic food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales revenue Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously under pressure Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly Join us to be part of a lively atmosphere where your hospitality talents can thrive!
