Servers at Sogno Toscano are storytellers, guiding guests through our seasonal Italian menu, curated wine and cocktail list, specialty coffees, and unique market items.

Responsibilities:

• Front of House staff must follow the

Six Guest Experience Rules:

1. Ask guests if they've dined with us before. a) If yes , welcome them back and share the specials of the day. b) If no , provide a brief menu overview and share a short introduction of the company. 2. Ask guests if they have any allergies. 3. Serve drinks promptly. 4. Check in with guests shortly after they receive their food to ensure everything is satisfactory. 5. Present the dessert menu after their meal.

• Guests should never have to wait for staff attention.
• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to every guest
• Share product knowledge, not only about the menu but also our market items (e.g., wines, olive oils, artisanal pastas)
• Assist guests with pairings, recommendations, and take-home product suggestions
• Work collaboratively with the FOH team to maintain a seamless and effortless experience
• Complete all assigned daily checklists in full and obtain supervisor or manager approval before concluding your shift.

Performance Expectations:

• Must maintain strong menu knowledge
• Maintain strong communication with both staff and guests, and support cohesive teamwork at all times
• Keep guests informed about timing when necessary, and offer helpful suggestions as appropriate
• Warm, engaging, and able to anticipate guest needs - no empty glasses
• Ability to multitask and communicate respectfully in a fast-paced setting
• Employees must arrive in and wear the proper uniform assigned to their position.

Staff will not be permitted to clock in unless they are in full, compliant uniform. Our Manhattan Beach grand opening date is still to be determined, but will likely be on October 20, 2026. Until the new location opens, all training will take place at our Santa Monica and The Grove (Los Angeles) locations.

Pay:

From $16.90 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
