Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Catering Professional for Car Week and Weddings, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences at high-profile events. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food service expertise, hospitality skills, and passion for guest satisfaction. Whether assisting with event setup, food presentation, or guest interactions, you will contribute to creating memorable moments for our clients and their guests in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Prepare and set up catering stations, ensuring all food and beverage items are presented attractively and efficiently. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining high standards of guest service and hospitality. Manage food handling and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment. Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, plating, and garnishing to meet event specifications. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring a positive experience. Buss tables promptly after service, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event. Support event setup and breakdown, including transporting supplies and ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for the next phase of the event. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or catering is highly preferred; culinary experience is a plus. Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with banquet style service Knowledge of food safety regulations, food preparation techniques, and food handling practices, Must Possess or Retain a food handlers certificate for California food safety upon hiring. Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with catering for large events such as weddings or corporate events is advantageous but not required.
