Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or upselling specials, you'll play a vital role in fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Assist guests with food handling, dietary restrictions, and menu questions to enhance their dining experience. Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the visit. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability in sales techniques including upselling and suggestive selling to enhance guest experience. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Knowledge of OpenTable reservation system is advantageous but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively hospitality setting.
