Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as SquareUp POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation standards Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant-specific tools Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining experience preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry Familiarity with POS systems such as SquareUp POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Experience with guest services tools like OpenTable for reservations and seating management Effective communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and team members Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous for providing seamless guest experiences Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels exceptional service!
