The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the dining room and kitchen. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Experience in banquet service or catering is advantageous. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak hours. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest services. Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required.
