PT Server (Waiter, Waitress, Waitstaff)

Sugo Trattoria is a casual restaurant that marries the traditions of the old world with wine country culture. Taking inspiration from the artfully hand crafted pastas, sauces and cured meats of Italy and integrating these recipes with local ingredients and California sensibility. The restaurant aims to showcase a selection of house-made offerings with local wines, as well as wines of various regions of Italy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following, but not limited to): Be knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine served Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to think quickly on your feet Passionate about food & wine with a desire to expand this knowledge Aim to give the best possible service, exceeding expectations: friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times Perform all assigned duties as detailed in your opening, and closing checklists

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be a hard worker, reliable, and punctual Are available to work weekends Able to follow instructions and established procedures Perform job duties with minimum disruption to the guests, be friendly and cheerful Must be able to support and cooperate with others and work independently, with a sense of urgency Must have the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and manager Must have a strong attention to detail Efficient and clean work style Are able to follow cleanliness requirements Strong dedication toward learning and continuous improvements Have the ability to work in a very fast paced environment Have minimum of 1 year restaurant experience Must be 18 or older
