Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and issue receipts. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs proactively for a seamless dining experience. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Familiarity with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service etiquette. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Previous experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is a plus.
