Seasonal Banquet Server (September - December 31 st, 2026) Riverside Convention Center - Riverside, CA Part-time • Seasonal About Us The Riverside Convention Center is known for creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and hospitality. We are seeking Seasonal Banquet Servers to join our team for the busy holiday and year-end event season. Position Overview The Seasonal Banquet Server will provide excellent guest service during banquet events, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role is seasonal and will run from September 1st through December 31st, 2026 , with potential evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms with linens, serviceware, and glassware Greet and serve guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner Serve meals and beverages, replenish drinks, and attend to guest needs Perform side work, bus tables, and maintain clean work areas Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown, including food stations Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards Qualifications Previous guest service or food & beverage experience preferred Must be at least 18 years old (21 to serve alcohol) Current Food Handler's card required Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Professional demeanor and commitment to excellent customer service Why Join Us? $22.50 per hour Gain hands-on hospitality and events experience Be part of a fun, energetic team during our busiest season Flexible shifts to fit around school, holiday, or other commitments Work in the heart of Riverside at one of the area's premier event venues
