English Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Playbook Sports Bar Server is responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests, ensuring exceptional dining experience in a high-end sports bar setting. This role involves taking accurate food and beverage orders, offering menu recommendations with a focus on gourmet bites and beverage pairings, and delivering orders promptly and correctly. The Food Server must maintain a professional, polished demeanor, anticipate guest needs, and work closely with the culinary and service teams to uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values. 2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. 3. Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to be able to explain the menu to guests with confidence and enthusiasm. 4. Follow the steps of service as outlined by the department on a consistent basis. 5. Take accurate food and beverage orders, including recommendations for gourmet bites and beverage pairings. 6. Proficient use of the POS system. 7. Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation. 8. Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience. 9. Maintain an organized and clean work area, including the dining room and service stations. 10. Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or requests in a timely manner. 11. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders. 12. Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions following company procedures. 13. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards. 14. Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area as assigned. 15. Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English. 2. Three (3) years of experience in gourmet, contemporary dining, and/or high-volume restaurants and bars. 3. Must be at least 21 years of age. 4. Must possess or obtain a Responsible Beverage Service State Certification. 5. Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification. 6. Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, working weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

must be able to carry full trays of food & beverages overhead- up to 25 lbs. 2 hours/day for 25% of the shift 10. Lift/Carry/Push/Pull lift up to 50 lbs.:1 hour/day for 13% of the shift 11. Push up to 100 lbs. using a push cart to put groceries away: 1 hour/day for 13% of the shify 12. Reaching above the shoulders and other hand arm use: 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift

Pay Rate:
$19.50/Hour
