Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Server must have excellent communication skills, high level of professionalism with attention to details. problem solving, good organizational skills, multi tasker without feeling overwhelmed. Can think quick on your feet. Has a true servant's heart to please guests at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Insures exemplary guest services through all forms of banquet service such as platted dinners, buffets, grazing stations, family style and interactive stations. Ensures that events are properly equipped and executed by transporting, pulling, setting up and breaking down, as well as returning equipment to designated storages in compliance with standards and instructions. Performs side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment. Cleans and organizes the restocking of equipment/products returning from catering events. Understands safety responsibilities as well as environmental laws by following established procedures, polices, training and involvement activities. Performs other duties that could be assigned. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications and Characteristics High School diploma and prefer at least 1-year industry experience. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence. Must have a working phone that can be used to clock in or receive text messages, Must be able to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills and develop effective proactive solutions. Must be able to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Must be able to complete work in a timely, organized manner. Punctuality and consistent attendance. Must be able to work independently if needed at an event. Must be able to interact positively with clients, staff and other third parties. Serve Safe Certification (food handlers)

Essential Physical Functions:

Ability to sit, see, hear, and speak for extended periods of time. Ability to stand, squat, crouch and lift arms above head. Ability to sit, stand or walk for 6 to 8 hours per day. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
