Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The server will be passionate about food, customer service, and creating an excellent experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers Explain our menu to customers Grill meats at table Upsell sides and drinks Enter food and beverage orders in POS system Transport food and beverage safely Set up and break down dining areas Sanitize, refill and stock service areas Process payments Other duties as assigned
Benefits Overview:
All employees are offered medical, dental, vision, supplemental life, disability, hospital, and accident insurance. Employees are able to enroll in the company 401k plan after 90 days of employment. Paid sick leave accrues at the rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked with a carryover cap of 80 hours.
Required Education:
High School or GED Food Handlers Card Responsible Beverage Service Certification Required Experience:
At least one year prior server experience
Preferred Experience:
Server experience in a fast-paced full service restaurant setting
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer service Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds Ability to communicate food and beverage knowledge and orders Ability to safely perform duties in restaurant setting
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Grill experience Basic knowledge of wide variety of cuts of meat
