Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Budtender. The Budtender will assist customers in selecting cannabis products, provide information on strains and consumption methods, and ensure a positive and informative shopping experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries. Educate customers on the various strains, products, consumption methods, and effects of cannabis. Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and display cases. Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards and company policies. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and cannabis laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with customers and colleagues. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
