Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in process using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar tools. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, wine pairings, and specials to elevate the dining experience. Manage guest needs throughout their visit by checking in regularly, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately with cashiering skills and basic math proficiency; process payments swiftly while maintaining excellent guest relations. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Maintain a clean and organized service station in compliance with sanitation standards; adhere to all food safety regulations. Promote a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests in a friendly manner while supporting team members during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to serving guests. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols required for safe service delivery. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities. Experience working in a nightclub or hospitality setting is beneficial but not mandatory. Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
