Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction from arrival to departure. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth service flow. Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize table turnover in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering. Excellent customer service skills paired with effective communication abilities. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or related guest services positions is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
