We provide a wide array of services including service of process; court services; on-call courier/messenger service; skip trace and investigations; record retrieval; subpoena preparation; e-data discovery and database hosting; copy center & reprographics; digital imaging; x-ray/blueprints/video/CD duplication; and facilities management services. Job Description The Field Agent is responsible for driving a company vehicle, working on in field retrieval and duplication of records requested by clients pursuant to subpoenas or medical authorizations from our clients. Effectuate service upon Custodians of Records (COR) in compliance with California Code of Civil Procedure with required documents authorizing the release of records by subpoena or patient authorization to be directed by management. Transport scanning equipment to COR location at appointed time and scan records on-site. Complete required paperwork including proofs of service, declarations, etc., to ensure that the proper legal procedure is followed in the retrieval of records. Complete and submit completed work orders for follow-up and billing. Deliver records to clients as needed. Scan/duplicate mailed-in and picked up records for Opposing Counsel sets. Responsible for daily logging and general maintenance of assigned Knox vehicle. Assist with procedural questions with in-house personnel, clients and client service reps. Assist in training and guiding of new hires involved in documents retrieval. Starting salary is $18-$20/hr depending on experience Hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM - 5PM. Full benefits, including health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays and 401K. Qualifications Possess a valid California Driver License and clean driving record. Operate a motor vehicle, enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly at various specified locations, load/unload portable duplication and scanning equipment.
