Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide menus with enthusiasm, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures. Assist with food preparation when necessary and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like wine or spirits, offering recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order processing. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions smoothly.
