Next Chapter SF San Francisco, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22•$23 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Attention to detail Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Next Chapter Cocktails & Tapas Lounge is seeking hospitality-driven Servers who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Servers are responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and professional service while guiding guests through our cocktail, Mediterranean tapas, and Peruvian tapas offerings. Our ideal candidate is warm, engaging, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Servers play a critical role in delivering the elevated service experience that defines Next Chapter. Essential Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and professionally. Guide guests through food and beverage menus, including cocktail, wine, beer, Mediterranean, and Peruvian offerings. Accurately enter orders into the POS system. Deliver food and beverages efficiently and according to service standards. Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout service. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials. Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, and management. Process guest payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Assist with opening and closing side work. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas. Support private events, buyouts, and special activations as needed. Follow all ABC alcohol service regulations and company policies. Contribute to a positive team environment and assist fellow team members when needed. Qualifications Previous restaurant, lounge, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Food Handler Certification required. Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required. Compensation Hourly wage plus tips. Employee meal discounts. Growth opportunities within the company. Availability Requirements Servers must maintain updated availability in 7Shifts and be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

4:00 PM•1:00 AM As a hospitality business, evenings, weekends, and holidays are our busiest operating periods. Availability during these times is strongly preferred. About Next Chapter Located at 142 Minna Street in San Francisco's Yerba Buena neighborhood, Next Chapter Cocktails & Tapas Lounge offers a unique hospitality experience featuring craft cocktails, Mediterranean tapas, Peruvian tapas, live entertainment, private events, and community gatherings in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Pay:

$22.00•$23.00 per hour
