Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting wines utilizing your knowledge of wine varieties. Serve wine and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper presentation standards. Upsell menu items, including specialty wines and food pairings, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and billing procedures. Ensure food safety and proper food handling protocols are followed during service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing to deliver seamless dining experiences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square, Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently. Knowledge of the food industry, including meal preparation, and food safety practices. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations and responsible alcohol service standards. Culinary experience or background in food handling enhances your ability to provide comprehensive guest support.
