We are looking for a hardworking and friendly server that will work well with the team. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly with the other waitstaff, work quickly and efficiently, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere within the restaurant. This position will let you negotiate the shifts that work best for you. If you have excellent customer service skills, commendable work ethic, and the ability to communicate and take orders in Chinese and English, this is the job for you. Duties Greet guests positively and take their food and beverage orders Prepare simple food items following safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and food preparation Upsell menu items and be ready to give suggestions to enhance guest experience Quickly serve food to the tables in a friendly manner Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety compliance Handle monetary transactions including with cash and card Experience Must have prior experience in food service or restaurant environments (6 months minimum) Must speak Mandarin Chinese (fluent preferred, but at least conversational level required) and English . Must have a valid California Food Handler Card Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and proper food handling procedures Experience in retail math or grocery store environments for cash handling tasks Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
