Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with professionalism during events and banquets Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, linens, and serving stations Clear tables promptly and handle bussing duties to maintain a clean and organized dining area Provide knowledgeable wine and beverage service, including pouring, garnishing, and checking guest preferences Assist with food handling, presentation, and basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and billing while ensuring accuracy in transactions Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries courteously, and ensure overall satisfaction Support catering setups and breakdowns for various events, ensuring timely execution from start to finish Experience Previous experience in Catering/Banquets is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills Culinary or banquet experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food presentation and service standards Strong guest services background with excellent communication skills to enhance guest relations Knowledge of wine types, beverage service techniques, and food safety practices enhances your ability to serve confidently Experience with catering setups, fine dining environments, or food handling procedures is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining a positive attitude Join us as a Banquet Event Server where your energy fuels memorable events!
