We are Gold Coast Sushi & Ramen! We are searching for a team member for a Server position. Join our team as a Server where your role is to provide great service to customer and experience what it is like to work at a sushi and ramen restaurant! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food, cocktails, sakes, beers and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed Provide exceptional guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary needs Experience Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such Toast POS will give advantage Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service enhances your ability to serve guests expertly Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is a plus but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your passion for food industry excellence with your energetic personality.
