Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests to ensure complete satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours or special events such as nightclub nights or private parties. Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation protocols diligently while managing guest relations in a courteous manner. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations. Experience with reservation management tools such as OpenTable is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
