As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your ability to manage time effectively and communicate well with both customers and kitchen staff will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring they feel welcomed. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Sanitate tables, utensils, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in the culinary or food service industry is preferred. Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems for processing transactions. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Knowledge of sanitation practices within a restaurant setting. Team player mentality with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
