Server Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated, service-focused Server to oversee and support our front-of-house team in a dynamic bar and kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily service, uphold excellent customer service standards, coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams, and help create a welcoming and efficient atmosphere for guests. As the Server, you will be responsible for supervising servers and floor operations, resolving guest concerns, managing table assignments, and stepping in as needed to serve guests directly. You will lead by example with a hands-on approach and a strong focus on hospitality, teamwork, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the front-of-house service team during shifts. Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner. Monitor dining and bar areas to ensure smooth and timely service. Coordinate between servers, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure accuracy and speed of service. Take guest orders when needed, suggest food and drink pairings, and upsell menu items. Ensure all tables are properly set, cleaned, and maintained throughout service. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with daily opening and closing duties, side work, and staff schedules as needed. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards. Support inventory tracking and communication of supply needs to management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training a plus. Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including bar offerings. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
