Duties Greet guests warmly and provide personalized recommendations from our curated wine list and beverage menu Take accurate orders for wine or other drink items using POS systems (Commerce7) Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in sales and tips Upsell premium wines to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Serve beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation, pouring techniques, and adherence to safety standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, answering questions about wine, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies Offer guests the opportunity to become wine club members for additional discounts Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles within fine dining or nightlife environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge and/or interest in wines and beverage service standards is required Proven ability to upsell products while maintaining excellent customer service skills Experience handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales transactions efficiently Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or high-end restaurant is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding wine experiences through expert beverage service!
