Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Process cash transactions accurately while managing sales through POS systems and handling cash or credit card payments seamlessly Upsell menu items including wine, specialty drinks, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation as needed Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving tables, processing transactions, and maintaining cleanliness Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, cocktails, wine pairings, and basic math for processing bills accurately Previous experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where energy meets excellence!
