Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest experiences through efficient food service, accurate order handling, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. The ideal candidate will have a background in food industry operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately using various POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions with precision and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders. Buss tables efficiently to keep dining areas clean and organized. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations. Support kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with basic food prep or other duties as assigned. Uphold sanitation standards and ensure all food handling practices meet health department guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or hosting/host roles is advantageous. Knowledge of the food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and guest relations is essential. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends may be required depending on operational needs.
