Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods securely while adhering to cash handling procedures Assist in inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing merchandise for optimal presentation Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail environment Prior supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is preferred Knowledge of merchandising techniques, product demos, upselling strategies, and stock management Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and patience in busy settings Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional communication and customer interactions Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
