Job Description
Overview We are seeking experienced & dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team, we encourage you to apply. This is a seasonal position from the week before Memorial Day weekend- end of September. This is a tipped out position. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assisting with plating and garnishing dishes. Uphold food safety standards by practicing proper food handling techniques. Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs and addressing any concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
