We are not a fast-food or casual quick-service restaurant. Visionarium is an authentic Italian restaurant, wine bar, rooftop venue, and live entertainment destination where hospitality, professionalism, and guest experience come first. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, has an outgoing personality, presents themselves professionally, and understands that great service is about creating memorable experiences—not simply taking orders. This position is intended for hospitality professionals seeking a stable, long-term opportunity within a growing company. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional, personalized table service with professionalism and attention to detail. Build genuine relationships with guests while maintaining a warm, confident, and polished attitude. Demonstrate strong knowledge of our food menu, Italian wines, cocktails, and daily specials. Confidently recommend and upsell wines, cocktails, desserts, and featured menu items. Accurately enter orders and process payments using modern POS systems. Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision and accountability. Coordinate efficiently with the kitchen, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and management to ensure seamless service. Maintain clean, organized dining areas that reflect Visionarium's quality standards. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Assist wherever needed to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Represent the Visionarium brand with professionalism, energy, and pride. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of full-service restaurant experience required. Experience in upscale casual or fine dining is strongly preferred. Experience using restaurant POS systems and payment processing systems is required. Comfortable handling high guest volumes while maintaining excellent service standards. Strong wine and beverage knowledge is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and polished presentation. Friendly, outgoing, and naturally hospitable personality. Reliable, punctual, and highly organized. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail. Must enjoy working as part of a professional team. Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus. Scheduling & Availability This is not an on-call or occasional position. We are looking for team members who are available to work a consistent, fixed weekly schedule . Our busiest days are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday , and availability on weekends is required. Visionarium is also expanding its operating hours and will soon offer regular lunch service. Candidates must be comfortable with a schedule that may include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. If you currently have another restaurant or hospitality job with changing schedules that limits your availability, this position is likely not the right fit. What We're Looking For We're looking for hospitality professionals who: View serving as a career, not a temporary job. Take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Thrive in a team-oriented environment. Are dependable and committed. Want to grow with an expanding hospitality company. Enjoy working in an energetic environment featuring live music, Italian culture, exceptional food, and one of Southern California's largest Italian wine selections. If this describes you, we'd love to meet you.
