Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders. Handle cash register transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Adhere to all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or large parties. Provide attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining, is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register duties. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
